I bought this for camping and have used it during major power failures (including a four-day outage from a hurricane) so it's been a lifesaver as well as a piece of fun sports equipment. The promises are true - it will indeed keep ice for close to a week! I camped out in hundred-plus heat and the ice still stayed frozen. In fact, my canned drinks had were partly frozen.
