The product claims to be reinforced and made for "extended life." I think that mostly applies to its ability to survive being shipped in a cardboard box.The rabbit wasn't even out of the UPS box before my puppy had snatched it and run off with it. That much is good. He is completely obsessed with the toy, which at least means he's staying out of trouble. But within 5 minutes he had ripped off an ear, eaten a hole into the skull cavity, and torn off parts of the fluffy tail. The head is now hollow and he is busy disemboweling what's left. There is stuffing everywhere. At this rate the toy will be mostly shredded within a day.
I gave it an extra star because it really is a nice plush, toy, and my dog loves it. But it's not durable enough for a 28-lb puppy who attacks toys like barbecue spare ribs. If your dog typically destroys stuffed toys in short order, expect more of the same.
